Who We Are
Adventure beneath the moon.
The Frost Moon Order is an 18+ roleplay Free Company built around adventure, acts of heroism, public service, and standing up for those left behind. We are a good-aligned vigilante company of heroes who moonlight as humanitarians, offering aid where protectors, governments, guilds, and city-states fall short.
From dealing with threats of the unknown and bad actors, to performing disaster relief and community events, the Order gives characters a reason to get involved, build bonds, and make a difference across Eorzea and beyond.
Whether your character is a seasoned adventurer, healer, investigator, performer, tradescrafter, scholar, or someone simply looking for a place to belong, there is room beneath the Frost Moon.
Our Story
Founded in 2024, Kaelys and Clarissa wished to create a welcoming space for roleplayers to explore themes of heroism, adventure, humanitarianism, and community collaboration.
We pride ourselves in being a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities.
Together, the Frost Moon Order has raised over $1300 for Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes, Doctors Without Borders, and other various charities. We have sponsored several community events to help people in need.
Our goal is to not only be protectors and heroes in FFXIV, but to make a positive impact in the world beyond the game.

Our tavern is a hub of activity, offering a warm and welcoming environment for roleplayers to gather, socialize, and immerse themselves in a bustling atmosphere.

Our estate is designed to support both public social RP and private FC storytelling, with flexible rooms for events, medical scenarios, and character downtime. All tailored to allow for immersive storytelling experiences.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a member to roleplay with the Frost Moon Order?
No, anyone is welcome to join our roleplay activities. Even if you are a member of a different FC or on another server. Membership is optional. The entire main area of the estate is open for public at all times, as well as the first 9 back rooms. RP happening in those areas are public to join, as well as any pop-up RPs in the discord.
Do i need to be a member to come to RP events?
No, you do not need to be a member to attend RP events. Anyone is welcome to participate! However, most events will need character sheets. If you do not have one you can use one of our premade sheets instead until you make your own. Social events do not require character sheets.
Will my character fit in here?
That is difficult to say! Our community is diverse, and we strive to accommodate a wide range of characters and storylines. We have characters that are simple civilians, trades crafters, medics, botanists, tavern keepers, soldiers, merchants, wild experiments, and from far away lands. No matter background you will find an ability to assist. We are primarily good alligned, so if your character isnt, they may struggle to get along with others. Of course IC has IC reactions, and that doesnt mean you arent welcome OOC or to try IC.
What is the company stance on lore compliance?
We subscribe to the idea that people should have creative freedom while respecting the established lore and world-building of the game. Bending is ok, breaking is not. If you can explain your concept and it can be plausible within the game's universe, we're usually open to it. We avoid direct ties and involvement with established NPCs as best as we can. If you are unsure of your characters' lore compliance, feel free to make a ticket in discord.
Can i play a powerful character?
We like to support people's creative endeavors and what makes them happy. Playing a powerful character is allowed, however with responsibility. Playing a powerful character has the burden of ensuring that you do not diminish the struggles of others. That you do not do too much making any problem a non-issue. And that you do not over power others narratives with either solutions or knowledge. Be mindful, have solutions for why your character wont do things, even if they can, for the sake of others. All characters are kept on an even playing field during our events with our character sheets.
Are there attendance requirements?
There are no attendance requirements for the FC. We occassionally every 6 months or so purge members who have not logged on in 60 days AND do not keep contact with us either in discord or inform us of their absence. As long as you communicate, you will be fine.
When are events held and the most active times?
Our typical events are held around 7-8 PM EST and can last till about 11 PM - 12 AM EST. Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer depending on RNG. We try to hold events to be accessible to as many people as possible. Our typical peak active times as an FC are around 5 PM ET to 4 AM ET.
